The only other person that I know tried this contacted me by email, because he was updating from version 2.something, with the old database format, and the conversion of the database data actually crashed! That was unrelated to it being the Lite version, but rather to the new version of PowerBuilder I built it with. I have fixed that for the upcoming release version.</description>

I do think you are taking a risk with the Lite version; you may be surprised as to how many people really don&#039;t want - or need - anything more than the basics.  But I could be wrong - and the $40 annual update fee for the full version is more than reasonable.</description>
