There is no charge for downloading or evaluating DONATION. However, if you actually use the program, you are required to pay for it. Details are on the Pricing & Payment page.

Note: The versions of DONATION on this page are only for use with Windows XP, Vista, 2000, or 2003. If you will be installing DONATION on an older version of Windows (95, 98, NT or ME) please use this version.

Please select one of the following options to download DONATION. If you already have a version of DONATION and are not sure what version number you have, use the Help -> About DONATION ... menu option in DONATION, which will tell you.

Important Installation Note for current users of version 2.41 or lower: To upgrade from version 2.41 or lower, you need to do a full installation with DONINST.EXE. Do not use DONDBUPDT.EXE, as it will not work. And for users of versions prior to 2.40, you have to first upgrade with DONINST27.EXE, to bring you up to version 2.70b, then upgrade with DONDBUPDT.EXE, to bring you up to the current version.

Note to current users of version 2.60 or lower: Starting in version 2.70, DONATION has included software licensing, which means that when it is first installed, it will be a 60-day evaluation version. You will have to obtain a License Key from Software4Nonprofits.com to make it fully functional. License keys will be given to everyone who has paid for DONATION or received a grant of a free license within the last year, and can be easily requested and installed through a feature in the program. If you are an existing user of DONATION and have no intention of paying for it and are not qualified for free use, do not take this upgrade. If you have any questions or concerns about this change, contact Cooperstock Software.

For those who are evaluating DONATION for the first time, the program will start out as an Evaluation Version, limited to 60 days of use, and able only to create sample charitable receipts. Assuming you decide to use DONATION for your organization, simply make your payment for it, then request and install your License Key. If you need more time to make your decision, there is also an option in the program to request an extension of your evaluation period.

Note: Starting in version 3.04, you can choose between the normal (also called Local Database) version of DONATION, and Network versions of DONATION. Click the link in the previous sentence for more details, if you are not sure which to select.
