DONATION has customized features and receipts for the U.S.A., Canada (including Quebec), and to a more limited extent Australia. Users in some other countries have experienced success with the program.

The first Windows version of DONATION was made available on the program's web site in 1999, and the program has been steadily improved since then. As of April 2008, there are over 4,000 registered users of the program.

The current release is Version 3.10c, released on April 30, 2008.

Because it is now being sold as shareware, rather than given away for free, it was necessary to change the domain name.
