Uninstalling HTML MessageBox

Top  Previous  Next

If for any reason you decide you do not want to use the HtmlMessageBox, you can uninstall it. Just go to Control Panel, and select Add or Remove Programs (in Windows Vista, it is called Programs and Features). You will see HTML MessageBox on the list. Click on it, and then click on the "Remove" or "Uninstall" button.

Completing the Cleanup After an Uninstall

In most cases, uninstalling HTML MessageBox will still leave a few files in the installation directory (usually C:\Program Files\HtmlMessageBox). This is due to technical limitations in the installation program. If you have uninstalled HTML MessageBox because you are positive you do not want to ever use it again, you can delete that entire directory after the uninstall has completed.
