Splitting Donors

The Database à Split Donor menu option can be used to create a duplicate of the current donor, which you can then edit to be slightly different.

This might be used to split a donor record that has both spouses' names in it into two separate records for the spouses, or to add a new record for a child in a family. Any donation records associated with the original donor are left with that donor - the new donor record will not have any donation records.
