| Backup Database | Copy a backed-up version of your database, which contains all of your current data, to a USB memory key, writeable CD, diskette, or a subdirectory on your hard drive. |
| Restore Database | Bring back a backed-up database from a USB memory key, CD, diskette or subdirectory on your hard drive etc., overwriting (i.e. completely replacing) your current database. |
| Email Backup | Email a compressed and encrypted backup of your database to any desired email address. (Not available in the Lite version of the program.) |
Restore Emailed Backup After receiving an emailed backup, and saving the attachment to your hard drive, use this menu option to restore it, overwriting your current database. (Not available in the Lite version of the program.)
Restore Old Database (DONATION3.DB) Allows you to restore a database file from older versions of DONATION (version 2.70b or earlier), then have that file converted to the new database format.
Restore Non-Backup Database Allows you to restore an actual copy of the database file (e.g. DONATION4.DB) rather than a backup file (DONATION4.DB.GBK, or DONATION-YYYY-MM-DD.DB.GBK, where YYYY-MM-DD represents the date the backup was made), if you don't have an up-to-date backup file.
| Backup Frequency and Options | This window allows you to set the frequency at which you are reminded to backup your database, and determine how many older backups are stored in your backup location. The reminder frequency defaults to Weekly, and the reminders occur just as you are exiting the program. |
